Gebr. Vermeer Industrial Movements is SCC certified to the VCA* 2017/6.0 standards with Aboma Certification.
For scope:
- Transportation of machinery, containers, plant and test weights.
- Special transportation including lifting operations with truck-mounted cranes, telescopic cranes, forklifts and lifting gantries.
- Performing (de)assembly, rigging and amove work.
Our employees have a VCA certificate Basic Safety or VCA for manager. This allows them to ensure optimal and safe handling of your assignments, transports and removals.
CSR
Gebr Vermeer is constantly looking for methods in the field of sustainability and corporate social responsibility: aimed at saving the environment and costs. We take this as an obligation for the current environment and future generations. Thus, our trucks are well maintained, much attention is paid to tires (tension, fuel-saving and quiet), aerodynamics and we continuously invest in trucks with economical, environmentally friendly engines. We also run trucks on biogas. these vehicles have particularly low co2 emissions.
Defensive, economical and harmless driving and acting accordingly is a big issue within our company. Our drivers are regularly trained and educated in this respect. Of all our forklifts, many are electrically powered and equipped with food-grade fats; this makes them excellent for green internal machine transport. For commuting, we provide electric scooters. We use electricity and fuel responsibly/efficiently. Our waste is separated at source and disposed of accordingly.
We are open to a social connection between our company and the region and take responsibility for it.
Gebr Vermeer supports community initiatives, institutions and events, and we also connect with some of these.
We are an approved apprenticeship company, working with vocational education and giving people the opportunity to gain professional knowledge within our company.
HACCP
Gebr. Vermeer has taken measures to work safely and hygienically.
Our machine transporters, mechanics and drivers have the certificate "Food Responsible Working for Maintenance Technicians and Machine Transporters" (HACCP ISO 17024).
If requested or prescribed, our people dress in food clothing, wear detectable earplugs, hair nets and overshoes and respect your safety and hygiene rules. As far as possible, the work materials are adapted to the HACCP rules and our forklift trucks are electrically equipped with non-marking tires.
Given this way of working and thinking, we are a suitable partner for work and machine placements in a "pure" environment or in the food industry.
CO2
Gebr. Vermeer is consciously concerned with a cleaner environment. Sustainability is receiving more and more attention in our society. We also see this with our clients. More and more companies are being asked about their Co2 emissions. By means of our annual Co2 footprint, in which the Co2 emissions are mapped out, objectives are made to reduce emissions.
Gebr. Vermeer Industrial Movements is engaged in Co2 reduction and participates 4 times a year in the CO2 reduction initiative: Netherlands CO2 Neutral Foundation.

Quality and safety, two aspects that for Gebr. Vermeer Industrial Movements and its clients are an essential part of the execution of lifting operations. Whether it involves work with a mobile crane or a truck with a truck-mounted crane, the job is only successfully completed when the work is not only completed within the agreed time and specifications, but above all without damage or accidents.
